The hotel was constructed from the 19th century mills and silos which were the beginnings of the famed Quaker Oats Company.

This view is down one of the two hallways on each floor.  The hallways themselves were cut from the center row of silos.

Each room is built into one silo.  The roundness of the room is interrupted only by the balcony and the bathroom walls.
